Buying a Condo?
Thinking of buying a Rehoboth Beach Condominium or Townhouse?
What is a Condominium?
The legal definition is “a form of property ownership in which the homeowner holds title to an individual dwelling unit, an undivided interest in common areas of a multi-unit project, and sometimes the exclusive use of certain limited common areas. Often mistakenly referred to as a type of construction or development, it actually refers to the type of ownership”
Locally the only difference between a condo and a town house is that typically a condo will be only one unit (usually only one floor) of a much larger building while a townhouse is a residence which normally has 2 or more floors and is attached to other similar units with no one below or above you and often furnished with a garage.
